Hello everyone, this is Tonja the designer behind Pink Plumeria Maui and I’m honored to be back with a new knitting pattern. Today I’m super excited to share with you a beautiful knitting pattern using Clover’s Takumi single point knitting needles, the Haleakala Scarf.
The Haleakala Scarf uses bulky yarn, works up quickly and is reversible. The Haleakala Scarf was inspired by the slopes of Haleakala on the island of Maui. Haleakala is one of the world’s largest dormant volcanos and the sunsets are one of the wonders of the world.
This was the first scarf I knitted so if you just learned to knit or want to, this pattern is a great project for you. The Haleakala Scarf has a beautiful texture and would make a beautiful addition to your wardrobe or would make a very special gift for a friend or loved one.
Let’s get to it. Here’s what you’ll need.
Supplies:
- Takumi 13-inch Single Point, Size 10.5 (Art. No 3012-10.5)
- Darning Needle Set (Art. No 339)
- Bulky Yarn, Weight 5 (I used Mary Maxim Marvelous Chunky in Sweet Stuff)
You can find the FREE written instructions as well as FREE PDF for the Haleakala Scarf by clicking HERE.
I am so excited to see the yarn you use to make your scarf. Please tag me @pinkplumeriamaui and use #pinkplumeriamaui on Instagram so I can share your project.
