*I See The Light* Tangled-Inspired Earrings!

*All at once, everything looks different, now that I see youuuu!* Tangled is one of the movies you can watch over and over and over, my youngest child loves it! I know in this movie, Rapunzel sees “the stars” in the sky that she recognizes from when she is a baby, but these earrings are also perfect as “flowers” for the springtime! The season of spring is a remarkable representation of a new beginning, nature’s source of rebirth, and new growth! Let springtime energy uplift you, nourish your body, heart, and soul, and chase away the winter blues. I am sure you are eager to enjoy the sunshine (or, might I say, “the light”!), the vibrant flowers that are starting to bloom, and the crisp, clean air that reminds us how much I love nature 🙂

Introducing to you a brand-new crochet pattern called *I See The Light* earrings! It’s almost springtime, which means the sun shines, the days grow longer and warmer, the grass is greener, and we eagerly await the trees and flowers to bloom! These fanciful, vibrant earrings are lovely additions to your on-trend outfits. They instantly lift my spirits every time I see them! You can complete a pair using this very simple pattern in about 30 minutes 🙂 It’s the ideal add-on accessory or last-minute present for your mom, sister, or friends!

This is an applique (embellishment) crochet pattern. This implies that you can attach this item to any object you choose, such as a headband, clip, or purse. Let’s get started with this Tangled-themed project!

NOTES:

  • skill level: easy, beginner-friendly
  • gauge: too small to gauge
    • Feel free to use any size of crochet hook as the gauge for this pattern is not very important. The size of your earrings is determined by the size of your hook. The same thing applies to your preferred yarn or thread when crocheting your earrings.
  • finished measurement: approximately 2” (height) x 2” (width)
  • Read the pattern carefully before starting.
  • This applique pattern is worked in the round.
  • I recommend using a stitch marker to mark the 1st stitch of each round. Remember to move the stitch marker as you progress.
  • The beginning ch 1 does not count as a stitch.
  • ( ) work instructions within parentheses as many times as directed or work a group of stitches all in the same stitch or space.
  • * * repeat instructions between asterisks as many times as directed or repeat at specified locations.
  • To define the shape of your earrings, block them or use a fabric stiffener.

To make them into beautiful earrings:

  • Use one of the petal peaks (picot) to attach your favorite earring hook, or the lower space (stitch) between the petals if you prefer a drop hook earring.
