Back to School Pattern: Crochet Pencil Plushie!

Crochet Pencil Plushie Pattern

By Molly of Lou Loops Co.

Have you started to think about “Back to School” yet? An oversized plushy pencil will put you in the spirit.

This pattern works up quickly and makes a great gift for a special teacher.

MATERIALS:

  • Clover amour soft touch hook (9.00mm)
  • Bernat Blanket Yarn (I’m using School Bus Yellow, Almond, Bubblegum, Licorice, and Mountain Mist)
  • Scissors
  • Clover Needle Set
  • Poly-fil stuffing
  • Clover Pattern Stitch Marker

STITCHES AND ABBREVIATIONS:

  • Chain (ch)
  • Single crochet (sc)
  • Decrease single crochet (dec)

NOTES:

You will work in a continuous round. Do not join at the end of each round. Use a stitch marker to keep track of your rounds. When working with the extra thick blanket yarn, it’s very easy to lose track!
