Materials

  • Amour Crochet Hook G (4.0mm) – Art. No 1045/G
  • Scissors
  • Yarn needle
  • Poly-fil stuffing
  • 10 mm safety eyes
  • 3 inch circle of plastic canvas (optional)
  • Worsted weight yarn:
    • Red, pink, or gray
    • White (tag)
    • Scrap of black (mouth)

This finished product will measure approximately 4 inches tall and 3 ½ inches wide.

The plastic canvas is totally optional. The candy kiss will naturally have a flat bottom if stuffed carefully, but I feel the plastic canvas does help a lot with it sitting nicely.

I got my plastic canvas off Amazon, but it should be available at most craft stores as well. You may use cardboard instead of plastic canvas. However, I would not recommend cardboard if there is a chance your finished item could get wet.

If you need to make your plastic canvas piece bigger or smaller, that’s ok. My measurements are just guidelines that should fit most pieces. You can lay your plastic on your finished piece to trim accordingly before final assembly.

  • Add eyes in-between rounds 17 and 18, four stitches apart.
  • Embroider the mouth in between and just below the eyes, forming a V shape.
  • Thread your yarn needle with the tails of the tag and attatch thru the center of your MR. Secure by tying the tails together on the inside of the kiss with the tail from the MR.
  1. sc 3, dec* (36)
  2. BLO sc 4, dec* (30)
  • Add stuffing and insert the plastic canvas. If you are not using the plastic canvas, be sure when stuffing you keep the bottom as flat as possible.
