Embellish with Embroidery and Felting
Multi-media is on trend; mixing fibers, textures and techniques in a single design is the current rage. We will embellish a tote bag using an assortment needle felting and hand embroidery tools. To produce something with personal character is very cool and rewarding, but better yet, you will leave class with a head full of ideas of how these techniques can extend to home decor and fashion supplies. -with instructor Eloise Wagers

Beginner Shuttle Tatting: Learning the Basics
Taking the mystery out of tatting is easier than you imagined. There is only one two-step knot used to make this intricate lacework. Students will learn how to make chains and rings and learn how to read modern patterns for interesting designs using our tatting shuttles. -with instructor Carol Mesimer

Tunisian Crochet 101
Tunisian crochet is almost a hybrid of crochet and knitting but only requires one hook as you create fabric. One row worked onto the hook, the next row crochets them off for a texture unique to this technique. We will demonstrate the basic techniques as you practice using our Interchangeable Tunisian Crochet Hooks. -with instructor Sheila Rolfer

Wool on Wool Felting
Needle felting is an age-old art form that is enjoying a resurgence in popularity. This technique allows you to create wool-on-wool felted layers painting and sculpting with wool fiber-so easy and without the wet felting efforts and clean-up. With this basic felting technique and the right tools you’ll have the skills to create most any project you wish. -with instructor Sheila Rolfer

We will also be participating in the Stitch Marker Swap along with many other booths. Swap in your old stitch markers for new ones. A great way to find the perfect stitch marker for you.
