Needle Felting Molds with SnowflakeForest

By Jodi Boylan | SnowflakeForest

Hello everyone, some of you may remember me but if not, I am a Fiber Artist, the creator of SnowflakeForest felting. I am honored to be back for another series of tests and reviews of Clover’s needle felting tools. This is part one of three.

Whether you’re an avid felter or just getting started with the craft, Clover needle felting tools are some that you NEED to know about.

Clover offers an abundance of tools for needle felting, including mats (small and large), different style felting needles (single needle, pen-style and punch needle), molds, roving and even a few other accessories you didn’t know existed but won’t be able to live without. Over the next few weeks I will be reviewing their variety of felting tools. After you’ve been filled with information about these tools, we will host a giveaway! So stay tuned.

Let’s start this series with the applique molds. They have four super cute molds to pick from (Daisy, Snow Crystal, Butterfly, and Hedgehog & Mushroom). You’ll want to play with all of them, I’m quite fond of the snow crystal and mushroom molds. They’ll help you add a perfectly felted personal touch to your projects.

When using these molds, I recommend using the Pen-Style Felting Tool (Art. No 8901), with the attachment guard (included in the package) to prevent the needles from poking too far and breaking. Using the molds doesn’t require a lot of roving making it a very quick felted addition.

I am so happy with how easy it is to use the molds.
