MATERIALS:
- Clover Amour Crochet Hook 4.5 mm
- Clover Jumbo Tapestry Needle (Bent Point)
- Clover Patchwork Mini Scissors
- Clover Quick-Locking Stitch Markers
- Tape Measure
- sport weight (#2) yarn
NOTES:
- This pattern uses US crochet terms.
- The beginning ch 1 does not count as a stitch.
- This reversible pattern is designed as a boomerang scarf/shawl.
- The gauge for this pattern is not particularly crucial. In addition to that, this pattern may be modified to any size you like, no matter how huge or wide. You can also use different yarn weights; however, while doing so, change the crochet hook size to match the size on the yarn label. Slip stitches typically tighten the stitches, making it difficult to pass through your hook. I suggest changing your hook to the size that is most comfortable for you to work on.
- The number of stitches in each row is indicated by the numbers at the end of the row.
- I recommend using a stitch marker to mark the first stitch of each row so you will not miss it. Remember to move the stitch marker as you progress.
- Gauge: 10 sts X 16 rows = 2 inches
- Skill level: adventurous beginner to intermediate
- Finished measurement: about 7 in (depth) x 46 in (width)
ABBREVIATIONS:
- ch(s): chain(s)
- flo: front loop only
- sc: single crochet
- sk: skip
- slst: slip stitch
- st(s): stitch(es)
SCARF PATTERN:
Note: All single crochet stitches are worked in both loops, while slip stitches are through the front loop only.

- Row 1: Ch 2, 3 SC in 2nd ch from the hook. Turn. 3 sts
- Row 2: Ch 1 (does not count as a st throughout), 3 sc in 1st st, slst through the FLO in next st. Turn, leaving last st unworked. 4 sts
- Row 3: Ch 1, sk 1st st, slst through FLO in next 2 sts, 3 SC in last st. Turn. 5 sts
- Row 4: Ch 1, 3 SC in 1st st, slst through FLO in each st across, leaving last st unworked. Turn. 6 sts
- Row 5: Ch 1, sk 1st st, slst through FLO in each st to last st, 3 SC in last st. Turn. 7 sts.
- Repeat Rows 4 and 5 until the desired scarf size or measurement is achieved.
- Fasten off and weave in all ends.
- Block your scarf.
