Gratitude Table Mat

Hi there, pumpkin! Yes, another pumpkin season is quickly approaching! What better way to get started with your September than by using the gorgeous hues of this spectacular season to create a lovely project! This project is perfect for you if you enjoy making your own fall decorations! Allow me to present the Gratitude Table Mat. This oval-shaped home accent will undoubtedly give your place a wonderful atmosphere. The best thing about this piece is that you can alter the pattern to represent the fruit or vegetable of your choice by changing the contrasting colors. This simply means that this mat can be made for any season!

NOTES:

  • Read the pattern carefully before starting.
  • Ch 1 and Ch 2 do NOT count as a stitch.
  • [ ] work instructions within brackets as many times as directed
  • * * repeat instructions between asterisks as many times as directed or repeat at specified locations.
  • When you see a number after a stitch, it means working that stitch in the next number of stitches. For example, “DC 10” means DC into the next 10 stitches.
  • When you see a number before a stitch, it means to work that number of stitches in the same stitch. For example, “2DC” means place 2 DC into the same stitch.
  • Total stitches are indicated at the end of each round.
  • I recommend using a stitch marker to mark the 1st stitch of the repeat pattern (group). Remember to move the stitch marker as you progress.
  • This pattern uses US crochet terms.
  • Gauge: 15 sts X 8 rounds = 4 inch
  • Skill level: intermediate
  • Finished measurement: approximately 17 in (length) X 14 in (height)
