rnd 1: Leave a longer tail and make a magic circle and (sc) x6, * [6]

rnd 2: (blo) – ch 1 (counts as first st), sc all around, * in Tomato yarn [6]

Cut off the Light Gray yarn.

*We will now work in a spiral.

rnd 3: (blo) – loosely slst all around [6]

rnd 4: (blo) – inc all around [12]

rnd 5: (sc, inc) x6 [18]

Remove your hook and place a st marker in the current loop. We will now create the bauble loop.

Using the light gray yarn tail from the magic circle, pull up a loop from the ws to the rs, and then back to the ws.

Secure the tail in a knot with the Tomato yarn tail. Add a dab of glue for extra security.

Continue onto the bauble.

rnd 6: (sc, inc, sc) x6 [24]

rnds 7-10 (4 rnds total): sc all around [24]

rnd 11: (sc, dec, sc) x6 [18]

rnd 12: (sc, dec) x6 [12]

Stuff.

rnd 13: (dec) x6 [6]

Sew the hole closed with your yarn needle by going through the (flo) of each st and then pull tight.

Cut a long strand of silver embroidery thread and embroider 3 large stars (4 sts tall, 2 sts wide) and 6 small “x” shaped patterns (1 st wide) around the bauble.

Bury the tail.

You’re finished!
