Spring Is Here Shawlette- Knitting Pattern

There is something about this time of year that always seems to be magical.

Maybe it’s the slow lift of dreary cold after a long winter. Maybe it’s the shedding of winter layers as the warm sun heats the earth. Or maybe it’s simply the sound of birds chirping in the mornings singing that spring is finally here!

Whatever it is, spring seems to be a season that is loved by many. Even knitters can find joy in the slightly warmer weather.

Spring-colored yarns are a warm welcome after the darker shades often knit with during the winter months. Or maybe it’s the enjoyment of working with lighter-weight yarns and knitting more delicate garments.

Despite the warmer weather during the day, the evening temperatures can still drop and require knitters to bundle up with a colorful shawl wrapped around their neck.

The Spring is Here Shawlette was designed with warm days and cooler evenings in mind.

Made from a single skein of yarn, this project is an easy and fun knit that beckons to be knit up using a rich color pulled directly from a spring showers rainbow.

Enjoy working with this delicate shawlette that will bring some color to your wardrobe when the evenings turn cool.

Notes

Wet blocking the shawlette when you have bound off is recommended to open up the lace trim at the bottom. Use pins to gently pull out the wave in the edging at the bottom of your shawlette. Don’t over-block. You can always block it more, but you can’t block it less!
