Bandana Bib – Knit Pattern
Hi Friends! It’s Dani, the designer, and blogger behind Danii’s Ways & CJ Design
Today’s pattern is this beautiful and simple Bandana Bib. A very easy knitting pattern that you can make in less than an hour.
These bandana bibs are made from a simple triangle using a garter stitch. We are going to be knitting them from bottom to top, finishing it with a simple ribbing stitch.
I think these bandanas would make a super cute baby shower gift. You can make a pack of 2 or 3, wrap them up with a nice bow and tissue paper, and ta-dah! Nothing better than a handmade gift for a little baby!
Plus they are super quick and easy to make, you will not want to stop making them.
One thing to consider is that because this is an accessory that will be touching the baby’s skin, you want to use a yarn that will not be itchy around the baby’s neck.
I used this super soft acrylic yarn from Lion Brand, but go ahead and find any “baby yarn” that you prefer.
If you’d like to make a more functional bib (to clean up baby’s spit, etc..) I would 100% recommend using cotton yarn, but again, totally optional!
Here is the list of materials you will need to make these bibs
Materials:
- Yarn: 30 grams of a category 4/worsted weight yarn
- Takumi Circular Knitting Needles US 8 (5 mm) 16″ cord – Art. No 3016/16
- OR Takumi Interchangeable Knitting Needle US 8 (5mm) – Art. No 3638 with Interchangeable Cord 16″ – Art. No 3645
- Mini Patchwork Scissors – Art. No 493/CW
