Knit & Tunisian Crochet Water Balloon

Hello everyone, I’m Tonja the designer behind Pink Plumeria Maui and I’m excited to be back with a new Knit & Tunisian Crochet pattern.

Today I’m sharing with you a fun knit and Tunisian crochet pattern using Clover’s Takumi Bamboo Knitting Needles and Clover’s Takumi Bamboo Interchangeable Tunisian crochet hook, the Knit & Tunisian Crochet Water Balloon. Two patterns with one similar look! Can you tell which one is knit and which one is Tunisian crochet?

The Knit & Tunisian Crochet Water Balloon is made with super bulky yarn, uses basic knitting and purling techniques as well as simple Tunisian crochet and the Tunisian knit stitch. The Knit & Tunisian Crochet Water Balloon is a super fun pattern that would be good practice for a beginner knitter or Tunisian crocheter and a super quick project for an experienced knitter or Tunisian crocheter.

The pattern is worked in simple rows with easy construction to finish it off. The Knit & Tunisian Crochet Water Balloon is a great way to use scraps of your blanket yarn. If you need to buy a skein of yarn, you will be able to get more than a handful of water balloons from it. The Knit & Tunisian Crochet Water Balloon is sure to be a splash with your kids, neighbors, friends and extended family. My kids have been the best testers and approve this pattern!

Let’s get to it. Here’s what you’ll need.
