Make a Quilted Tassel Pouch with Retro Mama
Hi! I’m Kim Kruzich, the sewing pattern designer and author known as Retro Mama! I love quilting, zipper pouches, and tassels, and today I’m here to bring you a project with all three of those things, made with some great tools from Clover. The tools for this project were provided by Clover, and this post also contains affiliate links.
I never had luck getting the quilting guide bar on my sewing machine to work. It was wobbly and never stayed in place. Then I discovered the Ultimate Quilt ‘n Stitch Presser Foot—designed for low-shank sewing machines (high shanks will require an adapter and the foot may not be compatible with all machines), this foot is steady, easy to use, and lets you sew lines from 3/8” to 3” apart. This presser foot saved me a ton of time marking lines and fed the fabric beautifully!
The second tool is the fabulous Tassel Maker. It comes in two sizes and you can make tassels from 1-3/16” to 2” (small) or 2-3/8” to 4” (large). Adjusting the size is super easy and I love the neat results!
