Hi everyone! I’m Noorain, the knit and crochet designer behind Noor’s Knits. I am originally from Hyderabad, India and I am also a Canadian. I currently live in Cleveland, OH. I am a happy wife and a mama to my three-year-old, Bubs. He is my inspiration for all of the designs I come up with! I currently focus on fun and cute baby and children’s knit and crochet patterns.

I have been knitting for 9 years and crocheting for 8 years. After making all the baby things every time someone I knew was having a baby, my family and friends encouraged me to start my own business.

I opened up my Etsy shop a little after Bubs turned one in 2017 so I could sell finished products. Within a year I realized my heart is in designing. I love coming up with fun and unique patterns for little ones.

Since last year, I have designed a total of 11 patterns! You can find my patterns on EtsyRavelry, and LoveCrafts.com. I also upload regular knitting and crochet tutorials on my YouTube channel.

One of the first products I ever used when I entered the world of making was the Clover Takumi Bamboo Knitting Needles! I remember loving the bamboo finish which was definitely an upgrade from the metal knitting needles I had learned on!

I started knitting and later tried to learn how to crochet. I remember using the Clover Soft-Touch Crochet Hook (again, I loved how comfortable it was to hold). I had a difficult time grasping the concept of crochet even though it only requires one hook as opposed to two needles!

Eventually, I got the hang of it and was able to crochet up some fun things. However, I still enjoyed knitting more than crochet. That is until I was introduced to Tunisian crochet. It was love at first stitch!

The first Tunisian crochet hook I used was a 5.5 mm double-ended hook since that’s the only one I could find at the time in my local JoAnn store! Ever since I picked up that hook, I haven’t been able to stop! I am so grateful to Clover USA for sending me the complete Interchangeable Tunisian Crochet Hook Takumi Combo Set!
