This video tutorial and written pattern are the first in a series of four that cover every special technique used to create The Dragonfruit Coaster. Part two includes Mosaic Intarsia, part three goes over picking up stitches in the round, and part four details adding fringe! If you would like your coaster in only two colors, feel free to work through the entire pattern as-is. If you would like to attempt mosaic intarsia, though, work through row 14 and meet me back here in one week for the Mosaic Intarsia tutorial!
With this in mind, here is all you need to get started making it!
