Woven Coaster with Fringe
Materials
- Mini Weaving Loom (Single)-Art. No 3176
- 1 skein of yarn [this model uses Plymouth Yarn Fantasy Naturale (Sherbet)]
- Scissors
- Darning Needle
Instructions
*Warp length (the length of the fringe included):
- approx. 9yd (8.2m)
- 27 warps at 3/16″ (5mm) intervals
Create 1 square motif with short fringe. (Forward to 1:29 for short fringe instructions)
For this project, tie the fringe using 3 strands for each tassel.
Woven Place Mat with Fringe
Materials
- Mini Weaving Loom (Single)-Art. No 3176
- 1 skein of yarn [this model uses Plymouth Yarn Fantasy Naturale (Sherbet)]
- Scissors
- Darning Needle
- Invisible or very fine thread
- Optional: Ribbon or trim
Instructions
*Warp length (the length of the fringe included):
- approx. 9yd (8.2m)
- 27 warps at 3/16″ (5mm) intervals
Step 1
Create 4 square motifs with long, one-sided fringe. (Forward to 2:25 for long one-sided fringe instructions)
For this project, tie the fringe using 3 strands for each tassel
Step 2
Sew the four squares together using invisible or very fine thread
Optional: If desired, sew ribbon or trim over seams
