Royal Hat Contest

Have you received your invitation to next month’s royal wedding? We’re still waiting for ours. We’re sure it’s in the mail. After all, it does take extra time to get across the big pond. But let’s just say we’re all invited! Won’t that be fun? But now the dilemma! What on earth will you wear? You don’t want to show up the Queen or anyone in the wedding party, but we do think hats are acceptable. One rarely sees the Queen without one! And Kate’s been known to sport a fancy chapeau from time to time.

So, show us what you’d wear! Design your own royal wedding hat and you could win a fabulous collection of Clover products! Knit, crochet, sew, quilt, craft – whatever you’re comfortable with – and be sure to use Clover products like the Flower Frill Templates, Bow and Rose Makers, various yo-yo makers, pom-pom makers, knitting/crochet needles, etc. Create something original, or repurpose that floppy sun bonnet that’s been sitting in the back of the closet for years! Have fun!

Our panel of esteemed judges (if we can find someone esteemed) will choose our favorites and post images of the finalists on the blog. There will be two prizes: Judges’ Choice and Fans’ Choice. And fans who vote for their favorite will also be eligible to win a prize!

Submit your photo and list of Clover tools used to fashion your creation, along with your name and permission to use the image and your name on Facebook, on our blog and web site, and in our newsletter, by Friday, April 22. Send to fran@clover-usa.com. We will announce the winners on Friday, April 29, the day of the big wedding!
