Wonder Pins Review by the Shibaguyz
Here in our studio, we use a lot of pins. Like, a lot.
We have at least six pin cushions and several boxes of pins in our studio space as well as in our photography kits, project bags, traveling teaching kits, tool bags, and workstations throughout the house (read: the arm of the couch and that one footstool over by the window).
Draping garments, pinning seams for sewing, pin-basting quilts and quilted projects… all of these activities require pins of different lengths, gauges, and head types. And, thanks to Clover, we always have the type of pins needed close at hand. The Wonder Pin is the pin we didn’t even know we needed. Definitely a game changer.
Okay… okay… Yes, pins are pins and, aside from different head types and gauges, pins have remained largely unimproved since… well… since the first sewist stuck themselves with a pin! With about a dozen shapes and sizes of pins in their catalog, we know that Clover certainly knows their pins. But, as always, the folx at Clover have found a way to improve on a classic and have elevated the pin to a new level with a welcome upgrade.
