Lucky Charm Coaster Crochet Pattern

Is spring already here yet? To be honest, I’m sick of the cold and snow. I just want to sit and watch the flowers bloom in all their gorgeous shades!!! I made this crochet pattern, the Lucky Charm Coaster, for this particular reason. It’s perfect for spring and the upcoming St. Patrick’s Day, so grab your materials and join me in crocheting this beautiful new piece 🙂

MATERIALS:

NOTES:

  • Read the pattern carefully before starting.
  • This is a very simple pattern, worked in the round.
  • The gauge for this pattern is not particularly crucial. You can change the yarn weight and hook size to make your coaster larger or smaller.
  • At the beginning of each round, you have the option to ch1 or not. Do the work that suits you the best.
  • * * Repeat instructions between asterisks as many times as directed or repeat at specified locations.
  • The number of stitches in each row is indicated by the numbers at the end of the row.
  • I recommend using a stitch marker to mark the first stitch of each row so you will not miss it. Remember to move the stitch marker as you progress.
  • Gauge: Round 4 measures about 2″ (diameter, unblocked)
  • Skill level: adventurous beginner to intermediate
  • Finished measurement: about 5.5 inches (diameter, unblocked)

ABBREVIATIONS:

  • ch(s): chain(s)
  • mr: magic ring
  • rep: repeat
  • sc: single crochet
  • sk: skip
  • slst: slip stitch
  • st(s): stitch(es)
  • lsc: long single crochet—insert the hook in the indicated stitch or chain on the indicated row/round below, pull up a loop to the height of the working or current row, yarn over, and pull through both loops on the hook.
  • p: picot—ch3 and slip stitch in top of single crochet stitch
