Yo Ho Ho Halloween Projects

Hi there, Erin from CraftsEverywhere and I’m going to show how you how to make some fun Halloween projects today!

I made up some pirate-themed knitting charts that can be used for many different types of objects, including pillows, wall hangings, sweaters and more. I made a pillow and a wall hanging for this but your options are endless!

I will include instructions on how I made the pillow and notes on the wall hanging in this post.

This is an intermediate pattern. You can either work one of the charts into a project using the fair isle method, duplicate stitch it on to a finished project or do a combination of both.

Pattern

Co 95 sts with one strand of MC Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick and 10 mm US 15 circular knitting needles or desired yarn/needle combination. Pl st mk to work in the round.

Rounds 1-4 – K all sts in MC (95).

Rounds 5-46 – Follow Chart 3 for fair isle or knit all rounds in MC if using duplicate stitch.

**Drop CC after round 46 if using fair isle method.**

Rounds 47-51 – K all sts.

Finishing

Sew in ends on the inside if using fair isle method. Add any parts of the design in duplicate stitch if needed and sew in all ends.

Seam the bottom of the pillow, add 18″ pillow insert then seam the top or add buttons or other closure method if you would like it to be removable.

I added the poms using the size small 45 mm Clover pom pom maker and tied them around the top and side edges once the seams were complete.
