Winter Swell Blanket – Crochet Pattern

Today I’m sharing with you a new crochet pattern using Clover’s Amour Crochet Hook, the Winter Swell Blanket. The L (8mm) Amour Crochet Hook is my all-time favorite hook!!
The Winter Swell Blanket is made with bulky yarn. This is a stash-busting pattern, I used what I had on hand but you can easily use super bulky yarn as a substitute. The Winter Swell Blanket is a great project for all crocheting levels and the extra effort of twisted fringe creates a super modern feel.
In this Winter Swell Blanket, I used 2 strands of Red Heart’s Hygge Yarn. This crochet pattern is worked in rows, turned vertical, and twisted fringe is added. The Winter Swell Blanket is sized to be an afghan/throw. It’s a super cozy, semi-weighted blanket that everyone will be fighting over to use.

Supplies:
- Amour Crochet Hook L (8mm) – Art. No 1055/L
- Darning Needle Set – Art. No 339
- Patchwork Scissors Mini – Art. No 493/CW
- Bulky Weight Yarn, I used 19 balls Red Heart Hygge Yarn, 5oz/141g, 132 yds/121m
