Raspberry Splash Shawl – Crochet Pattern
Time flies so fast! It seems like only yesterday when I shared with you the My Blooming Lantern pattern! I had a blast creating that pattern! I still feel the same right now!
Today, I have a new pattern I am super thrilled to share with you all! It’s a summer shawl which I call the “Raspberry Splash Shawl”. This shawl is not only good for summer though. As we are transitioning to a colder season, I believe that this shawl will be a great addition to your Fall and Winter wardrobe!
Hi! My name is Elisa. I am the maker and the designer behind Strings and Cuddles. Some of you may remember me and some may not even have heard of me yet! So let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am a stay-at-home mother to a beautiful 3-year-old girl and a wife to my very wonderful husband! I started my crochet journey in 2014 and I got hooked. Although, I have been using Clover Amour Hooks for a few years already, only last year that I became acquainted and started collaborating with Clover-USA! It is one of the highlights of my crochet journey!
When I am not playing with my crochet hooks and knitting needles, you’ll find me spending some quality with the two most important people in my life! I also like to browse some crafting ideas over the net especially on Pinterest. Well, aside from yarns, I am also addicted to anything Cricut-related, but I haven’t done anything with Cricut lately! Hmmm… maybe next time I could incorporate my love for crochet and knit with some Cricut stuff. What do you think?
Going back to Raspberry Splash Shawl, this pattern is such a fun and easy project to make! It only uses 2 row-repeats and though I used fingering weight cotton yarn, you can use any yarn fiber you want. Actually, you can also use any yarn weight or category! Do remember though to adjust the crochet hook if you decided on using a different yarn weight than the recommended one.

Notes
- Read the pattern carefully before starting.
- All measurements given are unblocked.
- The beginning ch 3 counts as 1 DC.
- The gauge is not that important for this pattern but make sure you maintain your tension throughout the process of making this shawl.
- Placing a stitch marker in the center sp is helpful. With the st marker you could easily locate the center-sp.
- The asterisk * indicates pattern repeats. You will need to repeat all the instructions between asterisks.
- Parentheses ( ) are used to indicate a group of stitches to be worked in the same st/sp.
- This pattern can be easily customized to the size you like, how big or wide it may be. Also, you can use different yarn weight but when you do, adjust also the crochet hook size according to the size in the yarn label.
