Monterosso Market Bag – Knit Pattern
Hello Makers! I am Elise, the maker and designer behind Frosia Knits. I am extremely honored to be sharing this pattern here with you.
Like my business, this pattern grew out of my love for creating with a touch of inspiration from my Italian background. I have long wanted to create my own market bag design so today I am sharing with you my newest pattern, The Monterosso Market Bag.
The Monterosso Market Bag uses bulky yarn and is knit flat in one piece from one handle to the other. The two sides are seamed together in the end to create your finished object. The pattern was inspired by the town of Monterosso al Mare, Italy, one of the Cinque Terre villages on the northern coast of Italy. This bag just screams to be filled with beautiful things and simple but elegant ingredients – beach essentials, flowers, fresh herbs, lemons, and skeins of yarn…lots of skeins of yarn.
