Crochet Flower Shawl – Crochet Pattern
Hi everyone! This is Wilma Westenberg, the crochet designer behind Wilmade. Today I’m sharing my brand new crochet design in collaboration with Clover USA: the Flower Puff Shawl! There’s also a chance to win a bundle of the tools you need to make this shawl.
The Flower Puff Shawl is a triangle shawl alternating flowers with flowing raised shell stitches forming beautiful waves. This design is full of visual texture and has a somewhat rounded shape instead of a deeper V point.
It’s worked top-down and made up of 12 rows that are repeated four times. It has the perfect measurements to wear as a shawl or wrapped around your neck and can be adjusted easily. Thanks to my friends at Clover USA, you can make your new favorite shawl using the free pattern!
Materials
This shawl is made with a gradient yarn cake. For this type of yarn it’s highly recommended to use an Amour Crochet Hook as it will make a big difference working with splitting yarn. I’ve already been using my Clover hooks for a long time and can’t work with this yarn without my Clover hooks.
Luckily Clover also had all the other materials I needed for this project:
- Jumbo Locking Stitch Markers-Art. No 3109
- Tassel Maker (Small)-Art. No 9940 or Tassel Maker (Large)-Art. No 9941
- Tapestry Needle Set (Bent Tip)-Art. No 3121
