Tatted Earrings and Bracelet with Beads

One can never go wrong with a little extra jewelry. Especially when you can make every detail to your liking.

Below are the instructions to help you make your own pair of tatted earrings, and a bracelet.

Supplies for one pair of earrings:
Tatting Shuttle (Art. No: 8101)
Amour Steel Crochet Hook No. 12 (Art. No: 1226)
Size 20 Crochet Cotton (We used LizBeth Thread)
5 round beads (8mm), 1 round bead (6mm)
Earring Findings

String the 5 (8mm) beads onto the thread before winding the shuttle.
Wind the shuttle, placing the beads a few turns back to keep beads
out of the way until needed.
R1: 10 ds, p, 5 ds, bp, 5 ds, p, 10 ds, cl r
R2: 10 ds, j, 5 ds, bp, 5 ds, p, 10 ds, cl r
Repeat R2 until you have five rings.
Join the 6mm round bead by inserting the crochet hook through it,
catching the ball thread and pulling it through the bead. Keep pulling
the thread through to get a large enough loop to put the shuttle through.
Complete this join by pulling back on the ball thread until the join is
hidden inside the bead.
Keep a firm hold on the bead, make a lock stitch centered at the top.
Make 3 small rings without beads- 15ds close. Attach earring findings.

Size 6 Seed Beads

Directions for Bracelet:
Row 1:* r (A) 6, p, 6, cl, rw
ch 2, vsp, p, vsp, 2 rw
*Repeat 8 times

End of Bracelet:
r (J) 6, p, 6, cl, rw
ch 2, (p, 2) x 6, rw
r (K) 6 j to (J), 6, cl, rw
ch 2, (p, 2) x 6, rw
r (L) 6,use crochet hook to pick up bead, insert hook in p on (J),
slide bead on picot, j p (L) to p with bead.

Row 2:
ch 2, vsp, p, vsp, 2 rw
r (M) 6, j to (I) with bp, 6, cl, rw
ch 2, vsp, p, vsp, 2, rw
**r (N) 6, j to adjacent on first row, 6, cl, rw
ch 2, vsp, p, vsp, 2, rw
**Repeat 8 times

Second End of Bracelet:
r (V) 6, p, 6, cl, rw
ch 2, (p, 2) x 6, rw
r (W) 6 j to (V), 6, cl, rw
ch 2, (p, 2) x 6, rw
r (X) 6, use crochet hook to pick up bead, insert hook in p on (V),
slide bead on picot, j p (X) to p with bead.
ch 2, vsp, p, vsp, 2

Use Amour Steel Crochet Hook No. 10 and size 20 thread to crochet 10
sts across end of bracelet. Work 3 rows and attach 1mm ribbon crimp.
Repeat at opposite end.
