Product Parade – Ultimate Scissors

Navigating  the scissor aisle of your favorite fabric store to find just the right scissors for the job can be a difficult task.  Each company makes multiple lines of scissors, and it’s not easy to figure out which are perfect for the job at hand.  Having the right tool can make all the difference in the ease of creating and in your finished project.  We have three lines of scissors available at Clover.

Today we’d like to tell you about our Ultimate Scissors, available in three styles.  You’ll recognize Ultimate Scissors by their Clover green handles.  These fabric scissors are lightweight, and are packaged with a plastic blade cover for safety when storing and traveling to classes.  Ultimate Scissors are made in Japan with a quality steel blade that offers superior durability and the sharpest cut.

Clover Ultimate Bent Scissors have a slight curve to the blade, perfect for cutting threads for embroidery work and cutting fabric on the curve.  You’ll find us using bent scissors when demonstrating our Kanzashi Flower Makers and Quick Yo-Yo Makers. These scissors measure 5 1/4″ and retail for $36.

Clover Ultimate Scissors are a straight scissor made for cutting larger fabric pieces.  The slim construction and light weight feel is perfect for detail work.  The size is great for traveling to classes, conventions, and workshops. We love using them with our pom-pom makers. These scissors measure 6 3/4″ and retail for $39.

Clover Ultimate Shears are the largest scissors in this line and are perfect for cutting out fabric pattern pieces for your sewing projects.  These scissors measure 7 3/4″ and retail for $46.  We love this review from one of our customers: “These are the best scissors in the universe.
