Clover Needlecraft

Show and Tell

We, at Clover, receive so many e-mails from you all sharing your projects made using Clover products that we decided to have an ongoing SHOW AND TELL section on the blog.

If we show your project, you’ll be eligible to receive a fantastic Clover product that will surely spur you on to more creative products. The drawing will be held the end of each month.

All you have to do is send a picture of your project and tell me a bit about yourself and the Clover tools you used. I would be thrilled if you sent me pictures of the process — from beginning to completion of the project.I am constantly energized by these e-mails and am thrilled to see what you are doing with our products!

Now, let me show off some things we’ve done. When we introduced the SWEETHEART ROSE MAKER the Clover demonstrators got together at the ocean and spent a weekend making wedding projects.

We worked so hard that weekend we felt we deserved a fresh strawberry shortcake break!

There are project sheets available on the Clover website for the Sweetheart Rose Maker.

And speaking of the Sweetheart Rose Maker, Marion Hutchinson wrote and shared a picture of her wedding projects she made with it:

Hi Fran,

Some time ago I e-mailed clover to share what I had made with the Clover rose maker but I had difficulty getting the picture to download.

Reading through some of the Blog archives and seeing a picture of yourself with rosettes you had made inspired me to try again.

I made these toparies to put in the church windows for my daughters wedding, we were also able to use them in the windows of the reception venue.

They were hard work! but worth it when it all came together and most important, the bride was happy. Although time consuming they actually cost a fraction of the price of commercial topiaries and are far bigger — 18″ from bottom of pot to tip of flower ball. I used an inexpensive sateen lining fabric.

Hope others are inspired and “thank you” to the genius who thought up the pattern!!!

Sincerely,

Marion Hutchinson

Marion, the Topiaries look beautiful and as my grandaughter is getting married this summer I am all too aware of the cost of decorating items.

Thanks so much for sharing….your work is awesome!

REMEMBER … We want to hear from you, too, and see the projects you are working on. Send a pciture and a bit about yourself and just a note of permission to allow us to publish it on the blog.  Only your name will be included with your project picture.
