Friday Finds – Quilt Inspiration
While we’re away at Quilt Market in Portland this week, we thought you might enjoy a little quilting inspiration from Nancy Zieman. She used Clover Trace n Create Quilt Templates for each of these designs. Make It Monday – Grandmother’s One Patch Table Runner
Wouldn’t you love to get the look of hexagons without all the intricate Y-seams? Nancy Zieman created the Trace n Create Quilt Template for Grandmother’s One-Patch Collection that does just that. Make It Monday – Pom Pom Hydrangeas
Have you tried making pom-poms with fabric? It gives the pom-pom a whole new look, perfect for a spring bouquet. It’s easy to do if you use a rotary cutter to cut the fabric, and is a wonderful way to use scraps from quilting and sewing projects. The fabric yo-yo had humble beginnings as a way to turn scrap fabric into beautiful embellishments with a bit of hand stitching. It’s been translated into so much more over the years. You’ll now see them stuffed and turned into beads in jewelry or stacked together to create trees and all sorts of critters.
