Give Back Wednesday
I know we usually post a video of wonderfully creative projects to inspire you, but today we want to inspire you to give back and give support to ConKerr Cancer this sewing month. Their mission is simple: to provide children with cheery pillowcases to brighten their hospital stay and a chance to learn to sew while breaking up the boredom of a hospital stay. Their goal for 2013 is to sew 44,000 pillowcases – one for each child in treatment. Last year over 63,000 or 30 miles of pillowcases were sewn. 3 Ways…

Eleanor Burn is teaching at Fabric Fest, she is known for her Quilt in a Day TV series on PBS and is still broadcasting nationwide and abroad, even teaching in Japan.
