Easy Breezy Headband *crochet pattern*

MATERIALS:

• H/5.00mm Clover Amour Crochet Hook
• Clover Patchwork Scissors (mini)
• Darning Needle
• Jumbo Locking Stitch Markers
• light worsted weight yarn in colors of choice

ABBREVIATIONS: 

• ch – chain
• chs – chains                                                                                                                                                                                                                   
• st – stitch
• sc – single crochet
• hdc – half double crochet
• dc – double crochet
• tr – triple crochet
• sp – space
• st st – slip stitch

EASY BREEZY HEADBAND PATTERN:

With main color, ch 118

Round 1: [1 sc, ch 2, 1 sc] in the 2nd ch from the hook (place st marker in ch 2 sp), 1 hdc in each of the next 2 chs, 1 dc in each ch across until 3 chs remain, 1 hdc in each of the next 2 chs, [1 sc, ch 2, 1 sc] in the last ch (place st marker in ch 2 sp). 

Rotate your work so you’ll be working along the bottom of your foundation ch. 1 hdc in the next 2 chs, 1 dc in each ch across until your last 2 chs before where your sc and st marker is. 1 hdc in each of the next 2 chs, 1 sl st into the first sc of the round.

Round 2: Ch 1, 1 sc in the same st, [1 sc, ch 2, 1 sc] in the ch 2 sp, 1 sc in the next st, 1 hdc in each of the next 3 sts, 1 dc in each st across until you reach 4 sts before the ch 2 sp where your st marker is, 1 hdc in each of the next 3 sts, 1 sc in the next st, [1 sc, ch 2, 1 sc] in the ch 2 sp, 1 sc in the next sc, 1 hdc in each of the next 3 sts, 1 dc in each st across until you have 3 remaining sts, place 1 hdc in each of the next 3 sts. Join with a sl st to your first sc. 

Round 3: Ch 1, 1 sc in the same st, 1 sc in the next st, [1 sc, ch 2, 1 sc] in the ch 2 sp, 1 sc in each of the next 2 sts, 1 hdc in each of the next 5 sts, 1 dc in each of the next 10 sts, 1 tr in each st across until you have 17 sts before your st marker, 1 dc in each of the next 10 sts, 1 hdc in each of the next 5 sts, 1 sc in each of the next 2 sts, [1 sc ch 2, 1 sc] in the ch 2 sp, 1 sc in each of the next 2 sts, 1 hdc in each of the next 5 sts, 1 dc in each of the next 10 sts, 1 tr in each st across until you have 15 sts remaining. 1 dc in each of the next 10 sts, 1 hdc in each of the next 5 sts, join with a sl st to the first sc. Change to border color at the slip stitch.

Round 4: Ch 1, 1 sc in the same st, 1 sc in each of the next 2 sts, [1 sc, ch 2, 1 sc] in the ch 2 sp, 1 sc in each st across until you reach the stitch marker (ch 2 space),  [1 sc, ch 2, 1 sc] in the ch 2 sp, 1 sc in each st across to the end. Join with a sl st to the first sc. 

Inner Stripe Detail Instructions:

With your chosen color and right side facing you, insert your hook into the bottom of any stitch from round 3. Form a loop with your yarn underneath, place the loop on your hook, and pull it up through the top just enough to create a small loop.

Keeping the loop on your hook, insert your hook into the bottom of the next stitch, yarn over, and pull up another loop. Continue this process around the entire round, pulling up a loop through the bottom of each stitch.

When you reach the stitch where you began, gently remove your hook from the loop. Insert your hook from the back of the starting stitch to the front, catch the loop, and pull it through to the back of your work. Cut the yarn, pull the tail completely through the loop, and tighten to secure.
