Necklace
Supplies:
- Tassel Maker-Large (Art. No 9941)
- Handy Thread Twister (Art. No 9942)
- French Knitter (Art. No 3100)
- Needle Threader (Art. No 8810)
- Metallic Braid Thread by YLI
- 6/0 Clear Beads by Toho
- 2 Ribbon Clamps
- 1 Lobster Claw Closure
- 2 Jump Rings
- Pliers
- Scissors
Instructions:
- Using the French Knitter and following the package instructions, knit approx. 20” (Note: Knit 2-3 rows at the beginning and end without beads to allow space for the ribbon clamp finding)
- Attach the necklace closure using the two jump rings.
Tassel & Cord
- Set the Tassel Maker to position #2. Make the tassel following the package instructions.
- Make the cord using 2 strands of the metallic thread and follow the package instructions included in the Handy Thread Twister. The cord length should be 6-7” when finished.
- Loop the tassel cord over the necklace at the center point.
Earrings
Supplies:
- Tassel Maker-Small (Art No. 9940)
- 22 Gauge Silver Wire (Cut two lengths each approx 7”)
- 6/0 Clear Beads by Toho
- Earring Findings (2)
- Jump Rings (6)
- Pliers
- Wire Cutters
Instructions for one earring:
- Slide Beads on to the 7” wire.
- Shape the wire either round or oval. Using the pliers to twist the ends together, cut the ends so they are even; then hide the twist by bending it down toward the loop.
- Make the tassel using the Tassel Maker and follow in package instructions. [Note: Set the Tassel M
- aker to position #2 and after tying off the center of the tassel open a jump ring, place it at the tie-off then close the jump ring. (see image below)]
- Place another jump ring through the tassel ring and close.
- Connect the tassel and the earring finding with third jump ring.
- Repeat steps 1-5 for second earring.
